Teddy Skye Garcia
writer, performer, artist, change maker trying his best
What do I do?
Hi! I'm Teddy Skye Garcia, a writer, performer, and non-profit founder working for LGBTQ+ and disability rights/joy. Whether you're looking to hire me, cast me, or you've just stumbled upon this website off the dark web, there's something for you!

Writing
I am an accomplished play and speech writer, with my youth play "A Narrator's Story" getting a full fledged production in 2019. I've written award winning speeches for myself and others, and my newest musical "HEIST OF THE CENTURY" will be produced in Spring/Summer of 2026.

Performance
I've been performing since age 5 and have continued honing my craft since then. After winning a National Youth Art Award (Best Supporting), I made my Off-Broadway debut as Hermann & Featured Vocalist in Cabaret. For my most recent performance, I received this review: "Garcia is a powerhouse of voice and talent. Endlessly funny with real heart behind it all."

Production
Event production is a specialty of mine, working to produce events of all types. Pride Prom Ventura County 2023 was produced under my advisement and leadership, and Home For The Holi-Gays, a sold out variety show raising over $2,000 for queer youth is my shining success. I plan for bigger productions soon, including self producing my new musical.

Non-Profit
At 16 years old, I began my own 503(c) non-profit, TRANScend Youth, dedicated to advocacy, public speaking, and events for and by trans and queer youth. I've tabled at some of Southern California's biggest pride events, spoken at many trans centered events, and helped create and facilitate events that look to help and spread joy for queer youth.

Design
Currently working toward dual bachelor of art degrees, I'm quickly honing my design skills. Currently taking Visual Literacy, Sculpture, and other arts and communications classes, I'm preparing to break into the visual world with a bang! Check out the "VisualLit" tab or the portfolio sections to see some of my most recent work!
